Soya Masala Vada, Soybean Vegitarian Recipes,











Ingredients (Serves 4)

* Chick peas dal       1/2 cup
* Soybeans, whole    1/2 cup
* Green chillies         to taste
* Onions, chopped     2
* Ginger, grated         2 tsp
* Salt                        to taste
* Soy refined oil         for deep frying

Method: 

1. Soak soybeans overnight and chick peas for 2 hrs. Drain water completely and combine both the beans. Grind the beans and green chillies with as little water as possible into a coarse  batter. Add capped onions, grated ginger, salt to the batter and mix well.

               
2. Make vadas with the batter (approximately 2tbsp for each vada) and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
